The former AZ Alkmaar striker penned a short term deal with English lower-tier outfit Northampton Town last season.
The 25-year-old is without a club after leaving the English side and has been handed a trial at Dutch Eerste club Almere City.
The pacey marksman excelled in a friendly match against Heracles Almelo though they lost 2-1.
Kevin hails from a family of footballers as his brother Derrick plays for Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven while Brian and Samuel Brobbey play for Ajax and Jong Almere City respectively.
Kevin made his official debut as a professional footballer for AZ in a cup match against FC Groningen in 2011.
