Bibiani Gold Stars goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi is clear about the task ahead as his team prepares for their next league game against Samartex.
After helping the team push through in the FA Cup, he believes the energy in that competition does not fully carry into the Premier League.
Gold Stars head into Sunday’s match with three wins and two defeats from their last five games. With Samartex strong at home, Kobi stressed the need for a fresh approach when asked whether the team has a different plan after their FA Cup victory over Basake Holy Stars.
"I think the FA cup is different from the Ghana Premier League if you look at the momentum in the FA Cup it is not what we are using to play the league. I think we are going with a different plan because they are also strong at home. We are going well prepared we are going with a different mentality and put in a lot of effort to gain something from there," he told Gold Stars TV.
Gold Stars sit 4th on the table with 22 points after 12 games. They face Samartex on Sunday at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.
