Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon is backing his side to overcome Heart of Lions in the MTN FA Cup quarter-finals to reach the semi-finals.
The two Ghana Premier League sides are set for a huge game this weekend as they look to end the 2025/26 football season with a trophy.
Speaking in his pre-match interview, Winfred Dormon noted that he is expecting a difficult challenge against Heart of Lions.
However, he is confident his side has what it takes to ride the challenge and emerge victorious at the end of the contest.
“We expect a very difficult challenge, but we should be able to handle whatever challenge they will pose. In the Ghana Premier League, we went there and suffered a painful 1-0, but in the second meeting, we managed to beat them 3-0. So, I’m looking ahead to Sunday when we are going to witness another eventful football. I believe that this game is going to be very interesting and tactical.
“We have to be very optimistic, but then we also have to be very cautious. We believe in the players we have, and we believe we will be able to go to Cape Coast and play and win,” Winfred Dormon told Dreams FC TV.
Sunday’s MTN FA Cup quarter-final encounter is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Cape Coast Stadium.
