E.K. Agyeman Mining Limited Group, a small-scale mining company operating in the Ashanti Region, Amansie and Atwima Mponua districts, has built and commissioned a four bedroom teachers’ quarters at Manso-Nyamebekyere, in the Amansie South District of Ashanti Region, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.

Nana Yaw Owusu Brempong, Administrator of the company thanked the Chief and people for being accommodative to his outfit in their operations in the communities, as well as availing a land to facilitate the edifice.
He noted that the edifice will ensure that teachers posted to the community, will be decently accommodated and go a long way to enhance teaching and learning.
The Administrator further urged the community to take good care of the edifice as well as practice maintenance culture to ensure it doesn’t deteriorate.
The Chief Executive of Amansie South District, Benjamin Marfo, thanked the management of E.K. Agyeman Mining for constructing such an edifice, noting it will help retain teachers seeking transfer prematurely to other communities after realising there is no proper accommodation available to them.
Benjamin Marfo further urged the community to take good care of the edifice to avoid deterioration.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Marfo has cut the sod for the construction of a CHPs Compound at Manso-Nyamebekyere to serve the health needs of surrounding communities in the area.
The DCE disclosed that as part of President Mahama’s quest to “reset” Ghana, funds have been released to the Assembly to construct two CHPs Compounds in the District, to enhance healthcare delivery.
