Welder Charged For Defacing Political Poster

A 38-year-old welder, Cornelius Ahiabor, who defaced a poster of the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Anyaa Sowutuom, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, was convicted by the Amasaman Magistrate Court, last week, for wilfully defacing a public lawful notice. The judge, Mrs Emelia Abruquah on his own plea of guilty with explanation, and sentenced him to 10 penalty Units (GH¢120) or in default, imprisonment of four (4) months.
