Lynched Soldier: Capt. Mahama lynching: 12-year old arrested

A 12-year old boy have been arrested in connection with the murder of Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama in the Ashanti Region, the police have confirmed.

“Just some few hours ago I had confirmation that a twelve year old boy has been arrested at Manso Nkwanta again in connection with the murder of Captain Mahama. So we are going to add him to the seven that we have and hand them over to the Central Regional Police Command to continue with the interrogation,” the Public Relations Officer of the Ashanti Regional Police Command, ASP Juliana Obeng, said.

Also, seven persons linked to the death of the young military officer have been arrested in the region including the woman was seen in the video torching his body.

So far, 23 people have been arrest and will screened and processed for court Monday.

Meanwhile, the family of the slain soldier say they plan to hold three funerals for him.

One in Accra, one in Bole and the last one in Tumu

He will be buried on Friday June 9,2017.
