Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus showcased his Premier League brilliance once again, scoring his third goal of the season to help West Ham United secure a 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion at the London Stadium.
The match came alive in the second half after a quiet first period. Brighton broke the deadlock just six minutes after the restart when West Ham goalkeeper ?ukasz Fabia?ski misjudged a cross. The ball fell to Mats Wieffer, who calmly side-footed it into the net to put the visitors ahead.
West Ham responded quickly, with Jarrod Bowen driving at the Brighton defence and unleashing a powerful shot. While Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen managed to parry the initial effort, Kudus was perfectly positioned to nod the rebound home in the 68th minute, levelling the score.
Brighton dominated the latter stages of the game and came close to snatching a winner. Aaron Wan-Bissaka produced a vital clearance off the West Ham goal line to deny the visitors, ensuring the points were shared.
The result sees West Ham maintain their solid form at home, while Brighton will feel they missed an opportunity to take all three points.
