Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said he is not paying too much attention to the margin of victory in this year’s elections.
To him, the NPP just wants to win irrespective of the margin.
Asked whether he had any figure of margin of victory after casting his ballot in the Walewale constituency in the North East Region, he answered, “A victory is a victory, we just want to win, and by the grace of God will win.”
Dr Bawumia further said he is satisfied with the general mood of the country on election day, today Saturday, December 7.
He said he is impressed with how voters are determined to cast their ballot to make a decision.
“So far from what I hear around the country, there is calm, there is very little tension I can see around the country. I gather that people were queuing from midnight across the country, which shows enthusiasm,” he told journalists after casting his ballot
