Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara says the main aim of the club is to avoid finishing as low as they did last season.
Hearts flirted with relegation last season and it took a win on the final day to ensure their safety.
Though their fans are looking at challenging for the title but their Ivorian coach Outtara says they are working hard to ensure they are not caught in any relegation dog fight which pilled a lot of pressure on the team last season.
“You remember last season we survived, so we are trying to get more points so we don’t get the same pressure we had last season. To escape from that situation, we need more points, that’s why we have this motivation,” he told 3Sports.
Hearts of Oak will take on their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko this Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Heart go into the game on the back of some fine form which has seen them win 3 and drawn 1 in their last four games.
They currently sit 6th with 19 points one better than their opponent Kotoko who are 7th with 18 points.
