Unidentified gunmen have attacked a cargo truck in Missiga in the Bawku municipality of the upper east region.
Security sources said the vehicle was moving from the Kulungugu border to the Bawku town under military escort, when it was attacked.
There were no casualties.
The lastest attack comes barely two days after President John Dramani Mahama led a high-powered government delegation to hold peace negotiations with the Bawku Naba and the Nayiri, as part of efforts to find a lasting solution to the chieftaincy conflict.
The conflict, since its resurgence last year, has left more than 40 people dead and several maimed. Properties running into millions of Ghana cedis have also been destroyed.
