Member of Parliament for Ejura-Sekyedumase, Muhammad Bawah Braimah, has expressed confidence that President Mahama will improve Asanteman’s condition.
His statement comes during President Mahama’s visit to Kumasi on Saturday, January 18 where he is set to attend a church service at the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center in Ahenema Kokoben on Sunday, 19th January, 2025.
Again, President Mahama’s visit to Kumasi is also aimed at attending the first Akwasidae festival of the year by His, Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II, Asantehene.
The Ejura MP’s assertion is likely rooted in President Mahama’s previous development projects in the region.
As a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Braimah has worked closely with President Mahama to address the needs of his constituents, particularly in education.
President Mahama has outlined his vision for Ghana’s development, including a 120-day social contract to create a law-based country and efficient government. This plan may alleviate some of the problems faced by Asanteman and other regions in Ghana.
“I have confidence in president Mahama to develop Asanteman. I want the people of Ashanti Region to support president Mahama to deliver to their satisfaction. NDC Government has Asanteman at heart and it will not disappoint the region,” the MP noted.
He called on the party supporters and Ghanaians to have faith in president Mahama.
