Two shops at Kejetia market have been burnt beyond salvage in the latest fire outbreak in Kumasi.
The incident, said to have occurred around 5, Friday morning was swiftly attended to by a team of fire fighters patrolling the market.
Though the two affected shops could not be saved from the wrath of the inferno, the fire personnel prevented it from spreading to other shops.
This is the second fire incident in the redeveloped Kejetia market since it became operational.
The first and major fire incident occurred in March 2023, destroying over 30 shops.
Meanwhile, business activities have not been affected.
