The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has announced the nominees for its 28th Media Awards, scheduled to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre on September 28, 2024.
A nine-member committee, chaired by George-Ramsey Benamba, revealed the 33 nominees at a press conference in Accra on Wednesday.
Nominees for the 28th GJA Media Awards
Some of the notable nominees include:
– _Castro Senyalah_ (Media General)
– _Evans Aziamor-Mensah_ (The Fourth Estate)
– _Benedicta Gyimah Folley_ (Ghanaian Times)
– _Edmund Smith-Asante_ (Daily Graphic)
– _Philip Teye Agbove_ (The Fourth Estate)
– _Doreen Ampofo_ (Ghana Broadcasting Corporation)
– _Delali Sika_ (Daily Graphic)
– _Edward Adeti_ (Media Without Borders)
– _Ridwan Karim Dini-Osman_ (EIB Network)
Media Houses Nominated
In addition to individual nominees, several media houses have also been recognized:
– _Daily Graphic_
– _Joy FM_
– _Joy News_
– _Atinka TV_
– _Obonu FM_
GJA President Albert Kwabena Dwumfour expressed gratitude to the Awards Committee for their hard work.
