Nsoatreman owner Ignatius Baffour-Awuah's movement restricted following tragic Kotoko-Nsoatreman case
[caption id=attachment_1221001 align=alignnone width=1080] Ignatius Baffour Awuah[/caption]A District Court in Sunyani has imposed restrictions on the movements of Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, the former Employment and Labour Relations Minister, as part of his bail conditions.Baffour-Awuah, who is also the owner and financier of Nsoatreman Football Club, is not allowed to leave or travel outside the Sunyani Municipality without judicial approval.The court's decision comes after Baffour-Awuah and two other suspects appeared before it, accused of being involved in the tragic murder of a supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC during a violent disturbance at a match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC.Baffour-Awuah was charged with abetment to commit murder and granted bail. However, he was ordered to submit his passport to the court registry. One of the other suspects was charged with murder and remanded in police custody.The case is set to continue, with the court seeking to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic event. The incident has sparked widespread concern about fan safety and the need for stricter security measures at football matches.
