Bechem United are set to recruit new players to augment their squad for the second round of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
According to assistant coach Mallam Yahaya, the technical team plans to engage the management to beef up their squad in the second transfer window.
He believes that this is key to improving the team to ensure they will win more matches to escape relegation.
“Of course, there are positions that we need to strengthen. We will talk to management to beef up the team so that we can improve and do well in the second round,” Mallam Yahaya said after Bechem United secured a 1-0 victory over Eleven Wonders on Sunday.
Bechem United currently sits 17th in the Ghana Premier League standings with 13 points from 14 matches. The team has struggled since the start of the season, boasting just three wins.
Mallam Yahaya hopes the team’s performance can improve by taking advantage of the second registration window for the 2025/26 season, which will open at 00:01 am on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, and close at 11:59 p.m. GMT to bring in players to beef up their squad.
