Thirty-one players have been invited to the Black Princesses camp as preparations intensify for Ghana’s FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against South Africa.
The squad will assemble at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram to continue training ahead of the third-round qualifying tie scheduled for February 2026. Ghana earned their place at this stage after a dominant 4-0 aggregate victory over Tunisia in the previous round.
As part of the build-up, Ghana will host South Africa in the first leg in early February before travelling south for the return fixture later in the month.
The latest call-up includes two foreign-based players, with Stanford University defender Alexandra Tay and Auburn University’s Jenna Kayla Sarpong both selected to join the camp.
All invited players are expected to report to Prampram on Friday, January 2, 2026, as the technical team begins final preparations for what is expected to be a demanding qualifying encounter.
