Highly-rated Ghanaian forward Sumaila Wasiu has joined Serbian Superliga outfit Zeleznicar Pancevo in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal to complete his move to the club.
Wasiu joins Zeleznica after an impressive spell in Belgium with Lokeren and he is expected to play a pivotal role at the Pancevo-based side as they eye a place in next season's UEFA Champions League.
The youngster, who began his career in Ghana at the Right to Dream Academy, believes moving to Serbia is the right step in his blossoming career.
"I like how my teammates and the coaching staff welcomed me. First impressions are good and I'm glad to be here," he said.
"I spoke to the coach, he told me what his plans were and gave me the details. What I heard suits me perfectly and that's why I came to Zeleznica. I think it's the best decision for me," added the talented attacker.
"I'm here to use my qualities to help the team achieve the best possible results. I can't wait to run out onto the pitch in front of our fans."
Before leaving Belgium, he netted two goals in 14 league games for Lokeren.
