Medeama SC goalkeeper Felix Kyei has revealed the motivation behind his outfit impressive run of rom in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Yellow and Mauve, who are seeking for their second Premier League title has been outstanding so far, recording 12 wins, 7 draws and just a defeat after 20 matches into the Ghanaian top-flight.
With 43 points from 20 matches, Medeama now sit eight points clear at the summit, while Aduana FC and Asante Kotoko are locked on 35 points in second and third place respectively.
Quizzed about the motivation behind the club’s blistering form, Kyei said, “We’ve gathered as one family and working together. The mentality is to secure the three maximum points in both home and away matches. Truth be told, our impressive performance is driven by determination”
Medeama will travel to Kumasi to face Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Friday, January 30, 2026, with victory crucial to the title ambitions.
While the title race remains mathematically open, Medeama’s ruthless performance in the current campaign has positioned them as frontrunners for the ultimate title.
Nations FC, on the other hand, will be aiming to maintain their unbeaten home record in the current Premier League campaign. Despite their inconsistent performance, the Abrankese has been a fortress for Nations FC with 10 game unbeaten run.
