The Ghana Football Association has reminded fans that tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will only be released in May 2026.
In a statement, the association said FIFA has not yet issued tickets to any buyers, including those who purchased directly through the official FIFA ticketing platform.
Both Ghanaian supporters who secured tickets via FIFA and those who applied through the GFA are expected to receive them once the global release begins.
The GFA added that once tickets are made available, it will follow established processes to ensure fans who bought through the association receive theirs without delay.
The statement also acknowledged the high demand for tickets, noting that requests far exceeded the allocation given to the GFA’s football community.
Fans have therefore been encouraged to remain patient as the process is finalised, with most tickets distributed through FIFA’s official platform.
Ghanaian fans who secure tickets will be able to watch the Black Stars take on Panama, Croatia and England at the tournament.
