Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has emphasised that the absence of his top goalkeepers Benjamin Asare and Solomon Agbasi will not affect his side in their last match in the Ghana Premier League season.
The goalkeepers will be joining the Black Stars camp later this month for the upcoming international friendly match against Mexico as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
While Didi Dramani acknowledges that he will be losing two key players, he insists he has equally good goalkeepers in his squad who will come in to fill the void.
“We can always put a team together. We have a team, so we can always put a team together in the absence of one player. For me, I’m a football person and a student of the game. I have had the two goalkeepers, and I know their standards, and I know they are co-number one [for us], so I don’t care who comes in,” Didi Dramani said in his post-match interview after the draw against Aduana FC on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak will aim for wins against FC Samartex and Medeama SC in their last two matches of the season to close the campaign strongly.
Benjamin Asare and Solomon Agbasi are expected to be available for the match against FC Samartex, but will miss the game against Medeama SC.
