The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has successfully concluded its all-female CAF Licence C Coaching Course at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram, marking another step in the development of women's football in the country.
The course brought together aspiring and existing female coaches from across Ghana for an intensive programme aimed at equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to coach at a higher level.
Participants received both theoretical and practical training in modern coaching principles, player development, match analysis, training methodology and football management. The programme also covered coaching methodology and leadership in line with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) coaching curriculum.
Beyond technical instruction, the course placed emphasis on safeguarding, professionalism and the growing role of women in football, encouraging participants to take up leadership positions within the game.
The initiative forms part of the GFA's broader strategy to increase the number of qualified female coaches and strengthen the technical foundation of women's football from the grassroots to the elite level.
The successful completion of the CAF/GFA All-Female CAF Licence C Coaching Course reflects the Association's commitment to creating more opportunities for women in coaching while building a stronger and more sustainable future for women's football in Ghana.
