German-Ghanaian midfielder Jamie Leweling has rejected another offer from AFC Bournemouth, showing his lack of interest in the Premier League club’s recent recruitment effort.
As reported by Kicker, Bournemouth recently made a fresh push to secure the 25‑year‑old, but their efforts ended unsuccessfully.
Bournemouth had already shown strong interest around the 2025/26 winter window, underlining how highly they rate Leweling. However, the new offer is described as not particularly attractive, and Leweling himself is not keen on a switch to the south coast of England.
His reluctance leaves Bournemouth looking elsewhere while reinforcing Stuttgart’s position. From VfB’s perspective, a departure is not a pressing issue anyway, with the Germany international under contract until 2029.
Head coach Sebastian Hoeneb is focused on keeping his squad together ahead of a demanding Champions League campaign. “We're going into a Champions League season. We already learned two years ago how demanding that is. That's why it will be important for us to have a very strong team at the start,” he recently explained, underscoring why key players like Leweling are considered “not for sale” for now.
