Black Queens have returned to training as preparations intensify for their decisive final Group C match against Mali at the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
The team resumed work on Monday following their narrow 1-0 defeat to Cameroon, with the technical team immediately turning its attention to the crucial encounter.
The session focused on recovery for players who logged significant minutes against Cameroon, as they underwent light exercises and regeneration work. The remainder of the squad completed a more intensive training programme as head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren continued fine-tuning his plans.
Despite the setback against Cameroon, confidence remains high within the camp, with the players determined to respond positively in their final group fixture.
Victory over Mali would keep Ghana's hopes of reaching the quarter-finals alive, making Wednesday's clash one of the Black Queens' biggest matches of the tournament.
Bjorkegren and his technical staff are expected to use the remaining training sessions to sharpen the team's tactical approach as Ghana seeks a return to winning ways and a place in the knockout stage.
