Medeama have highlighted goalkeeper Felix Kyei’s penalty save as one of the key moments from their CAF Champions League clash against TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi.
The Ghanaian champions shared a video of the save on their official social media platforms despite their elimination from the competition.
Kyei produced the important stop during Medeama’s second-leg defeat to TP Mazembe, giving the visitors a moment of encouragement in what ultimately proved to be a difficult night in the DR Congo.

Medeama had travelled to Lubumbashi needing to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit suffered at the TNA Stadium in Tarkwa.
However, TP Mazembe secured another victory to complete a 4-1 aggregate win and eliminate the Ghanaian side at the preliminary-round stage.
Despite the disappointment of the early exit, Medeama's decision to share Kyei’s penalty save reflects some of the positive moments from their continental campaign.
The goalkeeper's intervention stood out as one of the moments in which Medeama managed to resist the pressure from the Congolese giants.
The defeat means Medeama will not feature in the group stage of the CAF Champions League, ending their hopes of making a deeper run in Africa’s premier club competition.
Kyei, meanwhile, will take confidence from his performance in Lubumbashi as Medeama begin their preparations for the remainder of the season.
