Baby Thief Jailed 15 Years

A Kumasi Circuit Court on Friday jailed a 30-year old unemployed Hajia Salamatu to 15 years in hard labour for stealing a baby girl three day less than a month old belonging to one Aisha Farouk. Salamatu a native of Bawku but resident in Goaso, pleaded guilty to the one count of child theft and was convicted on her plea, by the court presided over by Mr. Emmanuel Amo-Yarteh.
