Regional Ministers-designate are expected to be vetted by the appointments committee of Parliament on Monday 13, 2017.
The first batch include Simon Osei Mensah – Ashanti region, Eric Kwakye Darfour – Eastern region, Ishmael Ashitey – Greater Accra region and Dr. Kweku Afriyie – Western region.
Dr. Archibald Lesta – Volta Region, Alhassan Suleiman – Upper West Region, and Rockson Bukari – Upper East Region, Kwaku Asoma Cheremeh – Brong Ahafo, Kwamena Duncan – Central, and Salifu Sa-eed – Northern Region, are also to be vetted on Tuesday February 14 -Wednesday February 15, 2017.
Their vetting follows the vetting and approval of 36 ministers who have been sworn into office by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
