Zenith Bank Ghana wins Best Christmas Decoration award at ‘December in GH Honours’

Zenith Bank (Ghana) Ltd has won the Best Christmas Decoration Award at the 2025 edition of the ‘December in GH Honours’, organisers have announced.

The award recognises the bank’s festive decorations at its Head Office and the Kotoka International Airport enclave, which formed part of Accra’s Christmas displays during the 2025 holiday season.

‘December in GH Honours’ celebrates individuals, companies and institutions that contribute to Ghana’s December festivities through services and experiences that enhance tourism and public engagement.

Zenith Bank has undertaken large-scale festive decorations in Accra since 2018, transforming key locations into illuminated public spaces during the Christmas period. The initiative, now in its eighth year, has become a recurring feature of the city’s end-of-year activities.

The 2025 display also coincided with the bank’s 20th anniversary in Ghana.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Ghana, Mr. Henry Onwuzurigbo, said the recognition reflects the bank’s commitment to creativity and community engagement.

“This recognition is a testament to our dedication to innovation, creativity and meaningful engagement with the communities within which we operate. For eight straight years, the Bank has made it a tradition to transform Accra with festive décor and through it, spread joy during the holiday season.

He added that the bank remains committed to investing in people, technology and the environment to improve customer experience.

Organisers of the event said the awards aim to encourage corporate and institutional participation in enhancing Ghana’s December tourism offering.

Zenith Bank said it will continue to sustain the initiative as part of its corporate social responsibility and community engagement programmes.
