The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season is taking a short pause this weekend to make way for the MTN FA Cup.
The domestic cup competition is scheduled to take centre stage with exciting games coming up in the Round of 16.
The biggest game of the lot will be the showdown between defending champions Asante Kotoko and Aduana FC.
That highly-anticipated contest will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, February 8.
In the other matches that will be played, Nations FC will face off with fellow Ghana Premier League side Swedru All Blacks on Friday, February 6.
Then on Saturday, February 7, Medeama SC will also host FC Samartex at the TnA Stadium to battle for a place in the quarter-finals.
In all, eight Round 16 matches will be played from Friday, February 6, to Monday, February 9, to determine the eight teams that will advance into the quarter-final stage of the MTN FA Cup.
