In a statement welcoming the 26-year-old, Schork emphasized Tachie's adaptability and readiness to contribute immediately.
"Richmond is a player with experience in the second division who can be deployed in various attacking positions. We are convinced of his quality and believe he can help us in the second half of the season without a long adjustment period," Schork said.
Tachie, who stands at 1.78 metres tall and is a right-footed attacker, joins from FC Kaiserslautern. He began his professional journey at Tennis Borussia Berlin before developing in VfL Wolfsburg's academy, progressing through all youth levels to the U23s.
His career has since included spells at Viktoria Köln, Borussia Dortmund IIâwhere he contributed significantly to their promotion to the 3. Liga in 2021âSC Paderborn, and a loan stint at Eintracht Braunschweig before his time at Kaiserslautern.
Schork added that Tachie’s combination of pace, physical presence, and proven goal threat is expected to intensify competition within the squad and provide Magdeburg's manager with fresh tactical options in attack as the team pushes for its objectives in the league campaign.
