Aduana FC defender Anorkye Badu has assured supporters of players’ readiness to fight for a win against Asante Kotoko in the MTN FA Cup this weekend.
The Ogya Boys are travelling to Kumasi to take on the Porcupine Warriors in a Round of 16 clash of the domestic cup competition that promises fireworks.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Anorkye Badu admitted that the contest against Asante Kotoko will be very difficult.
The defender, however, is confident that with hard work, Aduana FC will brush aside the opponent to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
“The FA Cup match against Kotoko is not going to be easy. We will work hard because our target is to win the FA Cup this season. We have had discussions among ourselves, and we will correct our mistakes to ensure we eliminate Kotoko and advance to the next round,” Badu told Aduana FC TV.
The MTN FA Cup Round of 16 clash between Asante Kotoko and Aduana FC will be played on Sunday, February 8, and is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
