The head coach of Attram De Visser, Ebenezer Dadzie, has backed the Ghana U17 male national team to impress at the 2026 CAF U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Ghana U17 team, nicknamed the Black Starlets, are currently preparing for the tournament scheduled for Morocco in April.
As part of the team’s preparations, the Black Starlets played against Attram De Visser in a friendly match at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The exercise saw the Starlets cruising to a 2-1 win at the end of the contest, earning admiration from coach Ebenezer Dadzie.
Speaking to Citi Sports on the sidelines of the friendly, the coach of Attram De Visser indicated that he is confident the Black Starlets will go far at the 2026 U17 AFCON.
“They will go far. Because if I see the way they play, their tactics, they are very far. I think they will go far, trust me,” Ebenezer Dadzie said.
The Attram De Visser coach added, “They are a very good side. They have been in camp for so many months. They have good coaches who train them, so no doubt they are a very good side.”
The Black Starlets are expected to play more friendlies in the coming weeks before entering the final phase of preparations for the upcoming tournament.
