Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana climbed off the bench to help Atalanta Bergamo beat Borussia Dortmund and reach the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League in a dramatic encounter at the Gewiss Stadium.
The 24-year-old replaced Nikolas Zalewski with five minutes of normal time remaining and the game levelled at 3-3 on aggregate.
The Italians then sneaked into the last 16 following a 98th minute penalty from Lazar Samardzic.
Dortmund had travelled to Italy with a 2-0 lead but were put under early pressure after Gianluca Scamacca netted the game's opener in the 5th minute.
At the stroke of half time, former Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta levelled the tie to set up an interesting second half.
Mario Pasalic then gave the Bergamo outfit the lead 12 minutes after the break before Dortmund's second half substitute Karim Adeyemi made it 3-3 on aggregate with a 75th minute strike.
With the game heading to extra time, Atalanta were awarded a penalty after a high foot in the box from Remy Bensebaini, with Samardzic smashing it into the top left corner.
Atalanta will now face either Arsenal or Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the competition.
