Bibiani Gold Stars assistant communications and administrative manager Joseph Oti Manu has made a strong case for forward Samuel Attah Kumi to earn a Black Stars invitation, pointing to the striker's remarkable consistency in front of goal.
Attah Kumi has been the driving force behind Gold Stars' title defence, netting 11 goals in 23 appearances to keep the defending champions firmly in contentionâjust one point adrift of league leaders Medeama SC.
Speaking on the growing calls for the 26-year-old's inclusion in the national team setup, Oti Manu highlighted what makes the former Karela United forward stand out.
"I believe Sammy is a very good player. He's scored 11 goals in 23 matches he's played for Bibiani Gold Stars this season. I think it is the right call for him to be included in the Black Stars", he said.
"His form has been impressive for this season because whether home or away, he scores very well."
With Ghana set to face Austria and Germany in crucial World Cup preparation friendlies this month, Oti Manu believes the timing is perfect for Attah Kumi to be assessed at international level.
"I think the GFA should consider very well to make him part of the team that will travel to Germany and Austria to play these friendly games to really assess him very well prior to the World Cup."
Ghana have been drawn in Group L for the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside Panama, England, and Croatia. As competition for places intensifies, Attah Kumi's goalscoring exploits have certainly made him difficult to ignore.
