Andre Ayew says he hopes his first goal for NAC Breda will be the beginning of many more after opening his account for the Dutch club.
The Ghanaian forward found the net in NAC Breda’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Feyenoord in the Eredivisie, scoring with a well-taken header to mark his first goal since joining the club earlier this year.
Ayew joined NAC Breda during the winter transfer window and has been working to make an impact as the club fights to remain in the Dutch top flight.
Speaking after the match, the experienced attacker expressed his satisfaction at getting on the scoresheet.
“It’s always important to score goals when you are an offensive player. I’m very happy, and I hope this is the first of many,” Ayew said.

The 36-year-old has quickly become an influential figure in the team since his arrival, bringing experience and leadership to the squad during a crucial stage of the season.
Ayew’s goal is expected to boost his confidence as NAC Breda continue their battle to secure their place in the Eredivisie.
The Ghana international is also hoping that strong performances at club level will help his chances of being considered for Ghana ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
