Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer has returned to full training with Hamburger SV after a brief absence earlier in the week.
The Ghanaian winger sat out Tuesday’s session as a precaution, but as announced by the club, he rejoined the squad on Wednesday morning and completed the entire workout with his teammates.
Head coach Merlin Polzin had already played down any major concerns, explaining that Königsdörffer’s absence was only due to minor “minor ailments”, small aches and pains that required treatment inside the facility rather than on the pitch.
His swift comeback confirms that assessment and means his involvement in Saturday’s home match against FC Köln is not in doubt.
Königsdörffer’s availability is an important boost for HSV, especially given his steady contribution this season. The 24-year-old has featured in 25 Bundesliga games and scored four goals, underlining his value in the attacking setup.
With his minor knock now behind him, Hamburg can count on his pace and direct play as they continue their push for a strong league finish.
