Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani was left to lament missed chances on Friday after his team drew goalless with Heart of Lions in the Ghana Premier League.
The Phobians, after failing to win any of their last three league matches before the fixture against Lions, went into the contest determined to secure maximum points.
However, despite creating very good chances in both halves, the team could not find the back of the net and had to settle for a draw at full-time.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Didi Dramani felt his team should have utilised the many chances they created to earn all three points.
“I think in the first half we controlled the game the way we wanted, and we came up close in terms of the chances we created. I think in the first half, we created about three chances that could have given us the goal. And in the second half, we created two chances that could have given us the goals, so I think if we had made those right decisions in those key moments, at least we should have scored a goal,” Didi Dramani said.
The result on Friday leaves Hearts of Oak in third place on the league log, but Didi Dramani’s side risk dropping out of the top four at the end of Week 26.
