President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has insisted that the Black Stars are not scared to face any opposition ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Mr Okraku made these remarks during the launch of the Fundraising Campaign for the Black Stars at the Kempinski Hotel on Friday, March 20.
Ghana, who are making their fifth appearance at the Mundial, have been housed in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
The Black Stars will kick off their campaign against Panama on June 17, face England on June 23, and conclude the group stage against Croatia on June 27.
“Today, we are very confident that the intangible assets that we have produced over time, the intangible assets that have been put together by coach [Otto] Addo and his team, we will make Ghana proud," Mr Okraku said.
“We will go into this tournament with our chest up, ready to fight for the strip and ready to change our story. We fear no foe and believe me, Ghana football will speak," he added.
As part of their World Cup preparations, the Black Stars are set to play two high-profile friendlies: against Austria in Vienna on March 27, followed by a match with Germany in Stuttgart on March 30.
Ghana will wrap up their preparation with games against Mexico and Wales in May and June, respectively.
