Port City FC has qualified for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League with four games remaining to end the Division One season.
The high-flying Zone 3 side achieved the historic feat after defeating Attram De Visser 3-1 to take an unassailable lead in their group.
With four matches remaining, Port City hold a 15 point lead over closest challengers Semper Fi. Port City sit top of Zone 3 with 61 points after 26 matches.
The club's promotion has been built on remarkable consistency and resilience. Port City have recorded 18 wins, 7 draws, and just 1 defeat in the ongoing campaign.
Despite the fierce competition fro Attram De Visser FC and Semper Fi FC, Port City held on to secure their target, which is qualifying for the top division.
They become the first team to secure promotion from the Division One League this season, with attention now turning to the remaining zones as other contenders battle for the final Premier League slots.
