Ghanaian striker Prince-Osei Owusu has been rewarded for his impressive performances in Major League Soccer after being named April Player of the Month for CF Montreal.
The 29-year-old forward enjoyed a productive month for the Canadian outfit, playing a key role in the club’s attacking performances during April.
Owusu registered two goals and three assists in four league appearances, contributing directly to five goals in the period under review.
His outstanding displays have further cemented his importance to the team since being handed the captain’s armband ahead of the 2026 MLS campaign.
Owusu has been one of Montreal’s standout performers this season and currently boasts an impressive tally of 11 direct goal involvements in 11 MLS matches.
The Ghanaian attacker has scored six goals and provided five assists, underlining his consistency and influence in the final third.
The former Germany youth international, who switched allegiance to Ghana, continues to push for a regular place in the senior national team after earning his maiden Black Stars call-up in November 2025 for the Kirin Cup tournament.
His recent form will undoubtedly excite the technical handlers of the Ghana national football team ahead of upcoming international assignments.
