Asante Kotoko technical director Stanley Menzo has promised that the Porcupine Warriors will give their all as they continue preparations for the 2026/27 football season.
Menzo made the remarks after the club’s board visited the team’s pre-season camp in Accra, where the squad is intensifying preparations ahead of the new campaign.
Kotoko began their pre-season at the Adako Jachie training grounds in Kumasi, focusing on physical conditioning, assessing trialists and evaluating the depth of the squad.
The team subsequently moved to Accra to begin the tactical phase of preparations, with the technical staff working to improve coordination and build greater understanding among the players on the pitch.
Menzo says the technical team and players are committed to meeting the expectations of the club and its supporters.
“We can only say that we will go with all our heart, with all our pride, to fulfil the needs of the club and the fans, as far as we can go.”
The technical director also highlighted the collective effort being made by the coaching staff and players as they prepare for the demanding season ahead.
“And we are working hard, with the staff and the players, and that's what we can promise.”
Kotoko have 15 days to continue their preparations before returning to Kumasi for the third edition of the Democracy Cup against rivals Hearts of Oak.
The fixture will provide the Porcupine Warriors with an important opportunity to assess their progress before the start of the new campaign.
