Bechem United forward Darlvin Yeboah has urged the club’s supporters to expect more from the team this season after making a winning return from a long injury layoff.
Yeboah scored the decisive goal as Bechem United defeated Gold Stars 1-0 in their opening fixture of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season last weekend.
Speaking to journalists, the attacker revealed the difficulties he faced during his injury absence and said the setback has motivated him to work harder while taking greater care of his fitness.
“It was a long injury. I suffered a lot, so when I was coming back I told myself I have to do more to prevent another injury,” he said.
Following their perfect start to the campaign, Darlvin Yeboah has called on the supporters to continue backing the team as they aim to build on their opening victory.
“The supporters should back us. We are ready to give our best to the team. We have prepared so well for the league, so they should expect more from us. We are going to deliver,” he assured.
This weekend, Bechem United will travel to Tamale to face Karela United in their Week 2 fixture of the new league campaign.
The match will be played on Sunday, September 13, and will kick off at 3 pm at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
