Ghana’s Black Maidens strengthened their position in the WAFU B U-17 Girls Cup with a commanding 6-1 win over Niger in Yamoussoukro.
The six-goal victory came on Matchday Four and underlined the attacking quality of the Ghanaian side, who controlled the crucial penultimate fixture of their campaign while restricting Niger to a single goal.
Ghana’s performance maintains their momentum in the competition and leaves them preparing for their final match against Cote d'Ivoire.
That match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, with kick-off at 14:00 GMT.
