The Office of the Member of Parliament for Subin, in partnership with Ghanaian-Diaspora Nursing Alliance, the Ghana Health Service, OKB Hope Foundation, Elijeko Foundation, Amazing Grace Children’s Foundation and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) among others, has organised a blood donation and a health screening for members of the public.

The event, which took place at the premises of the Prempeh Assembly Hall, Kumasi, yesterday provided a comprehensive health screening that comprised Prostate Test (PSA), eye screening, dental screening, cervical screening, free Laboratory investigations (STIs, HBA1C), blood pressure check, blood glucose check, cholesterol check, free wound care, free consultation, free medication and CPR hands on training for community.
Kofi Obiri Yeboah Esq., Member of Parliament for Subin, indicated that the gesture was intended to help enhance the wellbeing of his constituents and the general public.

The Legislator extended to his appreciation to the doctors (50 in number), who came all the way from the United States of America for their dedication to the course, as well as KATH, for their commitment in the exercise.
Lawyer Obiri Yeboah announced that the “Subin Fund”, to support traders in the constituency is in the pipeline and will soon be inaugurated and that the Asem Astro Turf, funded by him, would soon be operational.
Dr Daniel Kwame Apau, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care Medicine and Adjunct/Faculty at Lonestar College System in Houston, urged all and sundry to go for regular check-ups.
