The United States Army has pledged to deepen defence and security cooperation with Ghana, focusing on strengthening regional partnerships and supporting African-led responses to emerging security threats.
The commitment is expected to enhance collaboration between the two countries and support collective efforts to address security challenges confronting West Africa.
The Commanding General of the US Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), Major General Matthew W. Brown, made the pledge in Accra yesterday at a media engagement organised by the US Embassy during his first visit to Africa in his current role. Read More
