Ghanaian actor and comedian Michael Blackson, who is based in the United States, has commended leaders for the successful execution of the 2025 presidential inauguration held on January 7, 2025.
The outspoken entertainer attended the historic event at Black Star Square dressed in a luxury jacket paired with white trousers and accessorised with designer sunglasses, exuding his signature style.
Michael Blackson praised Commonwealth leaders from around the globe, including the presidents of Kenya, Gambia, Nigeria, Namibia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Togo, for their presence at the inauguration. He highlighted their commitment to supporting Ghana's democratic progress and fostering solidarity and collaboration across nations.
The inauguration followed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) party's victory in the December 7, 2024 elections. During the event, Ghana witnessed a historic milestone as Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman was sworn in as the nation's first female vice president, preceding the swearing-in of President John Dramani Mahama.
