Head of Direct Banking at Ecobank Ghana, Yaa Kesewaa Nyanor, has reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to customer appreciation and digital banking, as 3,060 customers benefited from rewards worth GH?1.5 million under the Ecobank 5 Star Enjoyment Promo.
She made the remarks while addressing customers at the second draw held in Kasoa, explaining that the initiative was deliberately designed to meaningfully reward customers as Ecobank celebrates key milestones.
“We have gathered here today to reward our customers. Ecobank Group is 40 years old, and Ecobank Ghana is 35 years old, so we decided to reward our customers in a way they will never forget,” she said.
“For this reason, we are rewarding thousands of customers to the tune of GH?1.5 million. Be part of the next and final batch. Ecobank is looking forward to rewarding you,” she added.

She explained that the promotion targets customers who actively engage with the bank through deposits, loans and digital transactions, particularly via the Ecobank mobile app.
“Our focus is to reward our customers for doing business with us—making deposits, taking loans and transacting on our mobile app. This is the second draw, and we are preparing for the third one in February 2025. For all those who could not make it this time, better luck next time,” she said.
Mrs. Nyanor outlined the requirements for customers to qualify for the final draw. She urged customers to make deposits in multiples of GH?400, take loans of GH?4,000 and above, and complete more than four transactions on the Ecobank mobile app to be eligible.
She also encouraged those without Ecobank accounts to open one and participate in the promotion, noting that customers who meet the criteria could be among the winners in the final draw, which she described as “grand and highly rewarding”.
At the draw, customers received rewards across eight categories. In the first category, five customers each won GH?10,000, while ten customers in the second category received GH?5,000 each. In the third category, 20 customers were awarded GH?2,500 each, and 25 customers received GH?2,000 each in the fourth category.
In the fifth category, 500 customers received a one-year insurance cover valued at up to GH?10,000 each. In the sixth category, 250 customers were awarded Ecobank gift cards, while another 250 received fuel cards in the seventh category. The remaining 2,000 customers in the eighth category received airtime worth up to four hours of talk time.
The initiative underscores Ecobank’s dedication to putting customers first, demonstrating that the bank values loyalty and aims to create meaningful experiences beyond traditional banking services.
