Swedish top-flight side BK Hacken have stepped up their interest in highly rated Ghanaian full-back Issaka Seidu, who could be on the move from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland during the ongoing transfer window.
According to reports from Sweden, Hacken officials have scouted the 19-year-old defender on site in Denmark as they consider a possible loan move.
Seidu, who joined Nordsjaelland in 2024 on a five-year contract, arrived with big expectations but has struggled to establish himself due to persistent injury setbacks.
Despite being regarded as one of the promising young Ghanaian defenders in Europe, Seidu has managed just five appearances this season, accumulating a total of 18 minutes of playing time.
With competition for places high at Nordsjaelland and the player still working his way back to full fitness, a temporary move away from the club is increasingly being viewed as the best option for his development.
Hacken are not alone in the race for Seidu’s signature. Expressen has previously reported that fellow Swedish clubs Degerfors IF and Vasteras SK are also monitoring the situation closely, as Allsvenskan sides look to capitalise on his availability.
A move to Sweden could offer Seidu regular first-team football and a fresh platform to reignite his career, while keeping him within a league known for developing young African talents.
Talks are expected to intensify in the coming days as interested clubs push to finalise their plans.
