Former champions Dreams FC will face Heart of Lions in a quarter-final clash of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday as both teams chase a place in the semi-finals.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 15, 2026, with the two sides aiming to move closer to lifting Ghana’s domestic cup trophy.
Dreams FC head into the tie with strong pedigree in the competition. The Believers won the FA Cup in the 2022-23 season after defeating King Faisal Babies 2-0 in the final at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
They booked their place in the quarter-finals this season after beating Inter Allies 4-2 in an entertaining Round of 16 encounter at the Tuba Astroturf.
Heart of Lions have also impressed in the competition and will be hoping to reach the semi-finals for the first time in their history. The Kpando-based side secured their quarter-final spot after edging True Life FC 3-2 in the previous round.
With both teams eager to extend their FA Cup campaign, Sunday’s encounter promises to be a competitive contest as they battle for a semi-final place.
