The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prince Owusu, has disclosed that his players are determined to fight for a win against Nations FC in their upcoming Ghana Premier League clash this weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors will host their regional rivals on Sunday, March 22, in a Week 26 fixture at the Baba Yara Sport Stadium.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Prince Owusu noted that his players have worked hard in training this week and head into the fixture with the mentality to amass maximum points.
“Yeah, I think preparation has been very, very high since last week. We played a pretty match, and then we came back, started training Tuesday, and we've done a lot that we are trying to prepare the boys that we need to win and win badly,” the Kotoko coach said.
Owusu continued, “So, with the boys, their mentality and everything, I've shifted, I've seen that they're all even together, talking to each other. Some of them are even approaching me, telling me this game is a win game, so it looks very good.”
The Week 26 fixture between Asante Kotoko and Nations FC is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm on Sunday.
