Top Egyptian judicial body rips Morsy
Dozens of protesters, some throwing rocks, faced off in central Cairo Saturday morning with police, who fired tear gas canisters at them. The irritating gas drifted through streets near a more thinly populated Tahrir Square, where just a day before thousands of protesters called for the overthrow of the regime.
Anti-Morsy protests grow in Egypt
Protesters stormed the headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood's political wing in Alexandria on Friday, state TV reported, a day after Egyptian President Mohamed Morsy issued orders that essentially allow him to run the country unchecked until a new constitution is drafted.
